Washington, D.C. – Today, the Natural Products Association (NPA) is excited to announce its annual federal government advocacy Fly-In Day on Capitol Hill, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.
NPA Fly-In Day is the dietary supplement industry’s preeminent annual gathering in the nation’s capital, offering manufacturers, retailers, ingredient suppliers and other stakeholders an opportunity to shape policies through in-person meetings with members of Congress and their staff. NPA members can reserve their spot and make hotel reservations online here.
The event has become the leading gathering point for natural products industry representatives to meet with members of Congress and explain how public policy can help or hurt the thousands of Americans who are part of the industry and the millions of Americans who safely use nutritional supplements every day. A full list of activities is available on the event page website.
Fly-In Day features a breakfast buffet and training on lobbying activities, followed by meetings with congressional offices and a closing reception on the rooftop of NPA’s headquarters, with a stunning view of the Capitol.
“2026 will be a pivotal year for the dietary supplement industry, requiring vigorous engagement from our members on Capitol Hill,” said Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., president and CEO of NPA. “On one hand, we face mounting threats by state legislatures to restrict consumer access to dietary supplement products, based on false and misleading information disseminated by our critics regarding federal oversight of the industry. “On the other hand, the Trump administration’s focus on Making America Healthy Again provides tremendous opportunities in the 119th Congress and executive branch to expand access to dietary supplement products. On Fly-In Day, our members will play a critical role educating members of Congress and their staff on the health benefits of our products and supporting the association’s legislative priorities.”
