The mission of the Natural Products Foundation is to promote and facilitate research and education related to natural products for the benefit of both consumers and the industry.   • Truth in Advertising: NPF runs a Truth in Advertising Program, which refers misleading advertising cases to regulatory agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and conducts outreach to promote advertising compliance within the industry. In 2013, the Foundation reviewed 285 advertising cases and mailed 150 warning letters, demonstrating its commitment to consumer protection and industry integrity.
  • Industry Collaboration: NPF works closely with regulatory agencies and industry partners to ensure that natural products are marketed responsibly and that claims are substantiated by scientific evidence.
